The body works through a finely balanced system of communication, much of which is electrical in nature. Our nervous system uses gentle electrical signals to transmit information between the brain, muscles and organs, allowing the body to respond and adapt to its environment.
In Kinesiology, muscle testing works with this natural communication system. When the body experiences stress – including potential stress from foods, organ stress – this can be reflected in subtle changes in muscle response. This information guides me to potential food sensitivities and imbalances within the body.
