Kinesiology and Food
‘Let food be thy medicine and
Medicine by thy food.’
Hippocrates
The body works through a finely balanced system of communication, much of which is electrical in nature. Our nervous system uses gentle electrical signals to transmit information between the brain, muscles and organs, allowing the body to respond and adapt to its environment.
In Kinesiology, muscle testing works with this natural communication system. When the body experiences stress – including potential stress from foods, organ stress – this can be reflected in subtle changes in muscle response. This information guides me to potential food sensitivities and imbalances within the body.
This approach shows the body is intelligent and responsive, it constantly communicates it’s needs. Kinesiology aims to listen to that communication in a gentle, respectful, non-invasive way.
Dowsing is used as a complementary technique to Kinesiology to support observation and decision making during a session.

Why I remove food sensitivities: Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, said, “We must remove obstacles to cure.” I believe food sensitivities can be one of those obstacles.
When food sensitivities continue to be triggered through the diet, they may contribute to ongoing physiological stress and inflammation, which can affect overall health. Research suggests that poorly tolerated foods can disrupt the gut microbiome and create imbalance within the digestive system. The digestive system is responsible for 70-80% of your immunity and the large and small intestines are responsible for absorption of most vitamins and minerals, if the digestive system is inflamed your immunity will be affected resulting in deficiencies. The gut is also closely connected to the brain through the gut–brain axis, meaning that gut health can influence mood, cognitive function and stress regulation.
Identifying and removing food sensitivities can help support the microbiome, reduce inflammation and improve nutrient absorption, allowing homeopathic remedies to work more effectively on your path to better health.
